The 23rd Annual Webby Awards selected 529 winners. Among them, was Best Launch, for the Best, most innovative, and effective or creative campaign for a brand launch or relaunch, including cinema, TV, and other media.

The event, produced by Wes Shade, was a promotion to celebrate the 2nd season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, a series on Amazon Prime.

Set in a pop-up restaurant to emulate a 1950’s version of the famed and icon Carnegie Deli, A2z Restaurant Consulting president Eddie Fahmy was brought in to set up, staff. That the event won is no surprise, as it was a real hit with patrons, who endured the long line to get entry every day throughout the duration of the event.

Eddie oversaw an average of 600 patrons per day throughout the 10-day run. I could up with him to get his reaction:

So, Eddie, how do you feel about the win, what are you most produ of, and what was your biggest challenge?

I feel great about it. Clearly opening any type of restaurant is a challenge. Moreso with the anticipation of serving thousands of people right out of the gate. We worked round the clock, and I’m so proud of my team — and all the people we staffed — for their commitment and contributions to this terrific success. I am thrilled we got to be a part of it!
